Having neglected my own progress for a while to develop Sapere Aude, I decided it was time to restart my blog and start to work on my fleet.
I’ve been pledged to Denton Patreus for months and been putting off getting Rank 3, but its so quick and easy to do, I feel foolish having left it for so long.
The first step was to outfit my Cutter for a little extra cargo, 720T capacity.
Might as well make a little money along the way, so I used the Multi-Hop Trade Route planner on eddb to plan out a few stops, and loaded up with Battle Weapons.
The Battle Weapons didn’t net me much at Flettner, but I was able to snag 720T of Military Grade Fabrics at only 767 – I’ll be Abe to sell these at my next stop-off for over 9000 credits, which finances the journey somewhat.
With my cargo hold replenished and a full tank of fuel, my next stop was LTT 911, a little under 60Ly away……
LEAVING JOLLIET DOCK
I left Jolliet Dock and set course for NLTT 8234. Ensuring to scan a few wakes on the way, I also planned to collect a little data for our efforts in Inarajajara.
While the Battle Weapons wouldn’t make me much, with no fuel scoop a couple of stop-offs on the 150Ly journey to Eotienses would be prudent, and I could pick up a 6m trade in LTT 911.
Note “Hail The Empire” / “Bask In Her Glory” emblazoned on the docking port.
Once I docked at Parkinson Dock, it was time to prepare for a quick sortie for Denton Patreus to obtain Rank III.
I reconfigured my ship with no shields and 784T of cargo capacity, and started to fill up with Military Materials.
Once ready to depart, I realised I should have chosen a different way to get Rank 3…..there were only 2 systems requiring Preparation; at 80 and 100Ly respectively; I chose Candecama.
Luckily the journey was trouble-free and within a few minutes I’d delivered everything I’d need to unlock the Advanced Plasma Accelerators.
I set my Prismatic Shields to transfer to me at Horrocks Gateway and started to plan out the rest of the business for the day.
While I waited, I used the NexAI bot to do some route-planning as some of our sister squadrons needed help.
The rest of the evening was spent doing some good ol’ space trucking, hauling about 5000T of Cargo to help with our political efforts in Inarajajara.
